LoadReserve is a free planning tool. Its results are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimates, not measurements

Results come from a calculation using typical figures for appliances, UPS units and batteries, and the settings you enter. Your own equipment may draw more or less, and batteries lose capacity with age and heat. How it works lists every figure and its source.

Medical and safety-critical equipment

Do not rely on LoadReserve alone for medical devices or anything where a power cut is dangerous. Confirm backup times with the equipment's supplier and keep a margin.

Electrical work

LoadReserve does not give wiring or installation advice. Use a qualified electrician for any change to your wiring, UPS, inverter or batteries.

Products and prices

LoadReserve does not sell or recommend specific products. Sizes shown are typical configurations, not endorsements.

No warranty

LoadReserve is provided as it is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions or losses based on its estimates.
